USB devices are very common media to share various types of files. Thus, they are also prone to get infected with virus that will spread across all the computers in which you have used them. This free utility allows you to check your USB flash memories and other devices to find possible threats. The program activates automatically when you open Windows and detects when you connect a USB device to your system. Then, it runs an automatic analysis to your device. By default, if the program finds any potentially dangerous file, it sends it to the Quarantine folder, although you can modify this setting so the program can ask you what to do. You can also modify other settings, such as the type of files that you want to skip from the analysis, the maximum size and storage period of the Quarantine folder, the type of reports you want to generate, and more. Maybe, the only drawback of this program is that to update its virus database, you need to go to the developer's site and manually download and install the corresponding file. This can be annoying, but is a minor problem in my opinion, since the program is free. If you don't want to deal with the manual updating, the company offers a Pro, paid-based version with more features.
